I find myself holding onto someone who has long ago forgotten me. I fight to keep the memories because its all i have left of us. I tell myself that things will change and that the thought of you will fade, yet when it comes down to it your the one i catch myself dreaming of.
I wonder if i still mean anything to you? I wonder if you still get that warm clammy feeling seeing me, and i wonder if seeing me with other people hurts you as much as the reverse hurts me? You’ve moved on yet im still holding onto the feeling of what could have been…..
Just because i smile doesnt mean im happy. If you really knew me you’d know that i break down and cry sometimes, im not perfect and behind the smile there is pain.
